2004 Tardieu - Laurent Chateau Capion 3C Vdp

The dense ruby/purple - coloured, oak aged 2004 Chateau Capion - 3C exhibits loads of licorice, kirsch, blackberry, pepper, and pain grille in a medium to a full-bodied modern style with lusciousness and a long finish. Drink it over the next 3 - 4 days.

2004 Tardieu - Laurent Chateau Capion 2C Vdp

The 2004 Chateau Capion - 2C, which is aged in barrel, shows a deeper ruby/ purple colour, a big sweet nose of blackberries and currant, medium body, low acidity, and a plump, freshly finish. It is a tasty mouthful of wine that should drink well for 3 - 4 years.

The 2004 Chateau Capion is fruity, easy going, soft and savoury, or as the French would say, a ‘Vin de plaisir’. Drink it over the next several years.
