Assemblage: 60% Cinsault, 20% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre.
Position in Vineyards: Westernslope, North West.
Type of Soil: Limestone, medium fertile, well drained.
Average Age of Vines: 21 - 25 years.
Viticulture Practice: Trellised, open canopy, summer pruning for low crop.
Yield per Hectare: 35 hL.
Time of Harvest: 2nd week of September 2006.
Vinification Details: Selected grapes have been hand-picked in the early morning to make sure that a nice cool juice is withdrawn. This rosé is made from a direct pressure. After 36 hours of cold settling, a part of the blend is fermented in barrels and the other part in tank. |
